As part of the 30th anniversary celebration, Club Italia invites you to a wonderful journey in the “Italian Lutherie Art” with the violin maker Ornella Ceci, on Tuesday 13th at the sports Bar at 11:00! She will be accompanied by Pierluigi di Cosola, a professional violinist from the Conservatory of Torino who plays wonderfully on one of her creations.

Born in Bari, south Italy, in 2005 she started her training in stringed instrument making and repairing.
After a Degree in Painting her first teacher was her father Arturo Ceci, a very well-known luthier, piano tuner, and restorer in Bari. After a few years, she moved first to Turin and after to Milan for improving her skills. In 2015 she got an internship by Master GUUST FRANCOIS in Amsterdam, were she created her first “Dutch” instrument, a “viola”.
Since 2022 she works with THEO WENTINK, who is the owner and general manager of Strijkinstrumentenshop.nl, the biggest shop in Netherlands regarding renting of stringed instruments and retail of all sorts of accessories related to stringed instruments also on-line.
