Presenting “A Scuola di Universi”

On Thursday, 1st February at 17:00, first floor of the Hinge (former street-food corner)

In his second book A Scuola di Universi our colleague Cosimo La Gioia engages the reader with a narrative halfway between science fiction and philosophy.

Cosimo takes inspiration from the existential question “What is the first principle from which all reality derives?” to create a work permeated by his great love for astronomy and physics, but also by philosophical reflection and even a touch of humour. Cosimo turns his gaze to the stars, to the immensity of the universe and asks himself the same questions, however, putting them into the forms of science fiction. The intent of this book is to convey a message of cosmic optimism, despite the fact that the history and the present of humanity seem to suggest the opposite.

A Scuola di Universi is also the first project of MIAMAInternational Movement of Authors, Musicians and Artists – and includes the artistic and musical contributions of: Samantha D’Angelo, Alessandro Tabacchi and Alessandro Colombo.

This creates a truly multidimensional work that allows the public a more immersive and engaging experience.

We would therefore like to invite you to this multi-artistic evening (in Italian) organized by our colleagues from Munich in collaboration with Club Italia, in which they will present us this interesting book.

During the evening there will also be an artistic contribution from Samantha D’Angelo. The musical program, curated by Alessandro Colombo and Paola Ottaviani, includes two unreleased songs (“Multiverse” by Alessandro Colombo and “Avremo” by Vincenzo Fantacone) inspired by or related to the book and songs by Franco Battiato, Fiorella Mannoia and Ornella Vanoni).

The event will be followed by a refreshment offered by the AFI (Associazione Funzionari Italiani).
