Club Italia and Photoclub would like to invite you on 24 October at 17:00 to the event “Dead End”, in which our colleague Nicola Moscelli will present (in English) his documentary book, shortlisted at Paris Photo–Aperture PhotoBook Awards. We will meet in the former street-food corner above the canteen.
Nicola will take us to an archeovisual journey along the US-Mexico border investigating its impact on peoples’ lives, culture, and history, perceived as elements of a common higher narrative: precisely, the Dead End.
The project highlights the concept of dead ends, both literal and metaphorical, presenting unfiltered street view imagery that captures the stark beauty and harsh realities of the borderlands.
