It is one of the best known creamy sauce in the world, a symbol of traditional Ligurian gastronomy. Cold sauce according to the classic recipe handed down for generations and protected by the Consortium (beware of the products named“Pesto alla Genovese” or “Pesto Ligure”, etc., which have no ), of which the basic ingredient is only the DOP Genoese Basil, recognizable by the Consortium brand on the label. It is made by shredding and cold mixing the ingredients without any heat treatment. Preservation is ensured by vacuum sealing and acidification with natural products.
INGREDIENTS: Genoese Basil DOP 39%, Extra Virgin Olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, walnuts, pecorino DOP, pine nuts, garlic, salt.
